How much do you charge?

There are many factors that we take into consideration when providing a price for our service. The price will depend on the show size that you choose, how long you want the disco for, your location, the time of year and any other additional requirements you may have when discussing your booking. What is the difference between the two show sizes?

The Mobile Disco is similar to most mobile DJ set-ups. It consits of our standard sound system (1Kw) and five static effects lights. The effects lights are called "static" as they simply project beams onto the dance floor. These beams change colour, pattern and also rotate. The Roadshow is a much bigger set-up that consists of an upgraded sound system (1.75Kw), 4 intelligent lighting effects, 2 static effects lights and 2 4ft silk flame effects. The sound system has the addition of 2 bass bins (sub woofers) and an additional amplifier to provide more power and a deeper/richer sound. The four intelligent lighting effects are linked up to synchronise their movements, patterns and colours. These lighting effects also have moving parts that sweep the lighting around the dance floor area. The silk flames are 4ft in height and provide a fantastic and realistic looking flame that lights up the whole disco area.

Can I specify the music that the DJ plays?

We like to encourage people to fill out one of our song request sheets when they book with us. The purpose of the song request sheet is to provide your DJ with a rough idea of particular songs, genres, era's etc that you like and you think people will enjoy on the night. It also gives you the chance to list any of those songs that you just can't stand or would like to avoid for personal reasons. It also allows you to detail songs that are important to you (i.e. first dance, dance with father, favourite song from holiday, birthday boy/girl favourite song etc). It is not there for you to provide a timed list from start to finish detailing every single song you want played and in that order. It is the job of your DJ to read the crowd on the night and play suitable music at different times while incorporating your requests along the way.

Do you have public liability insurance cover?

Yes. All our DJ's have full public liability cover upto a value of £5,000,000. This is a minimum requirement for the majority of venues and we can provide your venue with a copy of our policy on request if needed.
